It was at the Boys and Girls Club that her love for basketball took root, igniting a passion that would shape her teenage years. During her time at Miami Killian Senior High School, she played power forward for the Lady Cougars, where she learned the power of teamwork and perseverance.

Graduating in the top 15% of her class, Jessica earned multiple scholarships to Florida State University in Tallahassee, where she pursued her dreams with determination, ultimately obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in English with a Minor in Psychology.

In 2017, Jessica took a bold leap of faith by entering the Miss Jamaica Universe pageant in Kingston, Jamaica. Her determination paid off as she placed in the Top 10 and earned the title of “Gleaner’s Most Popular Contestant.” This experience opened the door to the world of modeling and social media, where she gained fame as @jessleewong.  Jessica has successfully registered the trademark @jessleewong with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Following her success, Jessica became the solo model for the Official 2018 J. Wray & Nephew Ltd. calendar,  showcasing her talent in Good Squad and various promotions that reached audiences around the globe.
